The Dease Lake Recreation Centre Society was formed in 1993
as a registered non-profit society. Our goal is (and has been)
to raise the necessary funds to build permanent recreation
facilities for the community and the surrounding area. We
hope to begin construction in the summer of the year 2000.
The new recreation centre will include
a skating rink that can be used as a three sheet curling facility.
In the spring and summer, the facility can also be used for
roller blading, ball hockey, trade shows, to name a few. Future
phases will include: a youth center, a permanent viewing area
and washroom and changing facilities.

Future additions eventually will include include such areas
as a sauna, whirlpool, and excercise pool, to name a few.
While a permanent facility is our primary goal, other recreation
enhancements to the community will occur in the future. |
